Team Context:

The Global Regional Teams at Binance are responsible for the localization and compliance of operations within specific markets. This role is part of the Turkey team, a vital unit ensuring that Binance complies with national regulations while maintaining the company’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Framework Development:
• Build and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, including tailored policies and procedures aligned with both regulatory requirements and Binance's business goals.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track Binance Turkey’s risk appetite and tolerances, produce management reports to highlight any deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Risk Registers:
• Maintain updated risk registers and produce regular risk/control profile reports, including periodic risk attestations.
• Dashboard & Alerts:
• Design and maintain risk dashboards to continuously monitor control effectiveness and raise alerts on deviations from expected norms.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with Department Heads to evaluate control environments and align risk practices with corporate strategy.
• Key Risk Identification:
• Identify and assess material risks for the business and report on mitigation progress and effectiveness.
• Governance Reporting:
• Prepare comprehensive risk management reports for presentation to the Board and Management Committees.
• Risk Intelligence:
• Stay informed about local (e.g., SPK, MASAK) and international risk and compliance trends in the crypto and financial services sectors, and integrate these into the firm’s strategy.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years in risk management, ideally within the financial services or digital assets sector.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise risk management (ERM) and project-level risk methodologies.
• Regulatory Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of Turkish regulatory frameworks (especially SPK and MASAK) and international digital asset standards.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• Recognized professional certifications in risk or compliance (e.g., FRM, CRM, ICA, etc.)
