Role: Risk Operations Specialist – Fraud, Data Analysis, AI

Location: Taipei, Taiwan (Remote-friendly)

Team Focus: Batch registration fraud, AI-driven detection, cross-risk collaboration

🎯 Mission of the Role

You will act as a bridge between data science teams and risk domains, working to detect, analyze, and prevent fraudulent account creation (batch registrations). You’ll help refine AI models, streamline remediation, and support teams managing ATO (Account Takeover), scam prevention, and KYC fraud.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Review flagged batch registrations from model teams, identify fraud patterns, and take action
• Analyze fraud trends and early indicators across reward fraud, scam, and KYC abuse
• Provide feedback loops to model and AI teams to improve fraud detection precision
• Partner closely with AI and data teams to automate detection and improve resolution speed
• Measure and report on KPIs such as:
• Case resolution rate
• Processing speed
• Model feature contributions
• Enable early prevention strategies through fraud pattern forecasting and group behavior analysis

✅ Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience in fraud detection, risk ops, trust & safety, or fintech compliance
• Proficiency with data tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong ability to spot behavioral patterns and detect group-level anomalies
• Familiarity with risk areas like:
• Reward manipulation
• Account Takeover (ATO)
• Scam detection
• KYC/BOT abuse
• Ability to work with large datasets and prioritize fast remediation
• Strong cross-functional communication, particularly with engineers, analysts, and security

Preferred:

• Experience working with machine learning or AI teams
• Background in crypto, blockchain, or digital finance
• Understanding of fraud detection automation or batch registration prevention
• Experience building or optimizing operational workflows involving user validation
