Risk Operations Specialist (Fraud, Data Analysis, AI) - Taipei

🧠 Role Summary

This is a fraud-focused risk operations role that bridges data analysis, AI-driven model detection, and real-time fraud response—ideal for someone experienced in FinTech, crypto risk, or digital fraud detection.

You’ll review flagged user groups (batch registrations), analyze behavior patterns, and collaborate with AI teams and risk domains (e.g., ATO, KYC, reward fraud).

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Investigate flagged batch registrations from Binance's model team to detect coordinated fraud.
• Identify early-stage fraud trends across various risk vectors (scams, KYC abuse, reward fraud).
• Provide feedback loops to the AI/modeling team to enhance detection systems.
• Collaborate across risk teams and data science groups to resolve and prevent fraud cases.
• Track performance KPIs: resolution rate, processing time, and quality assurance.
• Develop strategies to automate and scale fraud detection across the platform.

✅ Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• 2–5 years in fraud detection, risk ops, or AML, ideally in FinTech, crypto, or payments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Strong knowledge of fraud types: ATO (Account Takeover), scam, reward fraud, KYC manipulation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to handle and analyze large volumes of user data.

Preferred/Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working with AI or ML teams to develop fraud detection logic.
• Understanding of crypto/blockchain transactions, wallets, and user behavior.
• Background in group-based or bot-based fraud detection.
• Previous work involving automated risk systems or fraud case management tools.
