Job Description

The RME Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of building and equipment maintenance at Amazon facilities. This includes leading maintenance operations for automation systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment (MHE), ensuring safety compliance, vendor management, preventive maintenance planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee building and facility maintenance focusing on reliability, performance, and cost.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated systems including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and MHE.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance routines.
• Manage vendor AMCs and service level agreements.
• Coordinate procurement for maintenance materials and spare parts.
• Analyze equipment performance and maintain availability metrics.
• Lead a team of technicians and manage third-party service providers.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
• Maintain site cleanliness in line with 5S standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide real-time technical guidance during equipment failures.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Controls Engineering.
• Experience in facility and equipment maintenance within logistics, manufacturing, or industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Hands-on experience in MEP systems, electrical distribution, fire safety, HVAC, and automation.
• Ability to read technical documents and troubleshoot systems.
• Skilled in MS Office; knowledge of CMMS and AutoCAD preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in warehouse/manufacturing environments.
• Deep understanding of automation systems and control mechanisms.
• Prior supervisory experience managing teams and subcontractors.
