Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated SEC Financial Reporting Analyst to support the preparation and filing of our public company SEC documents, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about accuracy in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous learning within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing SEC reports (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K) in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Conduct disclosure benchmarking and support management’s disclosure strategy.
• Research and apply disclosure requirements for new accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for financial data and reporting support.
• Assist with XBRL tagging of financial statements.
• Prepare monthly financials and presentation materials for executive review.
• Ensure documentation adheres to SOX 404 controls and standards.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives using company-sponsored AI tools.
• Collaborate across functions, including controllership, investor relations, tax, legal, and FP&A.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

• CPA license (or equivalent) required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, including recent SEC financial reporting for a public company.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SEC rules, and SOX internal controls.
• Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite and Workiva (WDesk) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented, remote-first workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting or Big 4 audit experience.
• Exposure to fintech or financial institutions.
• Experience with XBRL tagging.

Compensation

Salary Range: $108,630 – $127,800 per year
