About the Role

Discord is seeking a highly organized, adaptable administrative professional to support Chief Business Officer Jules Shumaker and two Directors. As a strategic partner and calendar gatekeeper, you’ll be essential to keeping operations smooth, aligned, and on-track—especially in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing priorities, solving problems independently, and influencing outcomes behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CBO, managing scheduling, prioritization, and meeting preparation
• Coordinate internal meetings, offsites, and cross-functional alignment efforts
• Book and coordinate domestic/international travel, and occasionally attend major conferences
• Lead planning/logistics for team events, ensure action items are tracked and completed
• Manage expense reporting and procurement-related requests
• Identify process improvements to optimize the CBO’s time and team efficiency

What You Should Bring

• 5+ years’ experience supporting VP+ leaders, ideally in Business or Sales orgs
• Expert-level proficiency with Google Suite (GCal, Gmail)
• Strong communication, boundary-setting, multitasking, and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with Asana, Notion, and Discord
• Ability to anticipate needs, handle ambiguity, and thrive in hybrid/remote culture
• High discretion, initiative, and adaptability
