As a Senior Analyst, Technology Risk, you’ll play a critical role in managing the risks that come with our ambitious mission to increase economic freedom globally. You'll be part of a high-performing team, helping to shape our global risk strategy, perform technical assessments, and guide stakeholders across time zones in understanding and mitigating security and technology risks.

🔍 What You’ll Do:

• Analyze threat intel and risk factors to inform scoring models
• Drive risk-informed decisions across tech and business units
• Execute end-to-end risk lifecycle: identification, analysis, mitigation, monitoring
• Maintain and improve our risk register with automation and quality controls
• Create risk reports and dashboards for leadership visibility
• Train teams and promote risk awareness across Coinbase
• Support audits and regulatory inspections (U.S. & international)
• Align risk work with Enterprise Risk Management and legal/regulatory teams

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in risk management or GRC functions
• Strong grasp of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, FAIR, etc.
• Experience managing risk data/tools (Jira, Archer, GRC platforms)
• Ability to communicate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of regulatory environments (e.g., DORA, SEC, GDPR)
• Strong organization, project management, and writing skills

💡 Nice to Haves:

• Background in fintech, Web3, or consulting
• Risk-related certifications (CRISC, CISA, CISSP, FAIR)
• Familiarity with blockchain/crypto technologies
• Coding or data visualization experience a plus

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $167,280 – $196,800/year
• Includes bonus, equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more
