About the Role:

Join Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team to develop AI-powered documentation solutions and contribute to MCP (Model Context Protocol) development. Support engineering teams by building scalable data pipelines, metrics tooling, and insightful dashboards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-driven documentation and centralized Opensearch-based discovery services.
• Integrate developer experience (DX) tooling for engineering performance metrics.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines with data validation across multiple platforms.
• Create and validate dashboards using Grafana and advanced dashboards in Retool.
• Perform time series data analysis and manage PostgreSQL/data warehouse systems.
• Conduct survey analysis, ROI analysis, and data correlation across platforms.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Advanced SQL and database management skills.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with JavaScript for metrics calculations and query optimization.
• Skilled in Grafana and Retool dashboard development.
• Familiarity with AWS/EC2 and PostgreSQL with multi-platform integration.
