As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our Collectibles Content Creation team to enhance the user experience through engaging, high-quality animations.

We’re seeking a Senior Animator with expertise in frame-by-frame animation and motion design to help craft collectible animations, including avatar decorations, profile effects, and new collectible types. Key Responsibilities:

• Animation Production: Create high-quality 2D animations for collectibles, including avatar decorations, profile effects, and motion-enhanced assets.
• Conceptualization & Storyboarding: Translate ideas into engaging motion pieces, from storyboarding to final execution.
• Varied Animation Styles: Utilize a mix of frame-by-frame animation, motion graphics, and effects to create visually stunning assets.
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Collectibles design team, game publishers, and vendors to produce polished animations.
• Technical Optimization: Ensure animations adhere to product constraints while maintaining top-tier visual quality.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Feedback & Review: Provide thoughtful feedback to peers and vendors, elevating creative output across the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• 6+ years of experience in animation, preferably in the tech or gaming industry.
• Advanced animation portfolio showcasing frame-by-frame animation, motion graphics, and various styles.
• Expertise in 2D animation, with a deep understanding of motion principles, composition, and timing.
• Proficiency in animation software, including:
• Adobe After Effects
• Toon Boom Harmony
• Adobe Animate
• TV Paint
• Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with artists, designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to present creative concepts, clearly articulating design decisions.
• Receptive to constructive feedback, iterating on designs to achieve optimal results.
• Team-oriented attitude, bringing positivity and enthusiasm to the workplace.

Bonus Skills:

• 3D animation experience (Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender).
• Familiarity with UX animation tools (Rive, Lottie).
• Illustration skills and experience with various illustration tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $168,000 - $185,000 (USD)
• Equity grants
