🌐 About the Role

As a Senior Backend Developer – Innovation, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling backend systems for fast-moving venture projects adjacent to Crypto.com's core businesses. You'll work in a lean, agile team environment with the freedom to experiment and build prototypes that directly impact global product offerings.

🧠 Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Propose architectural decisions, participate in design/code reviews
• Develop prototypes for new product ideas
• Solve complex infrastructure problems for backend and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with DevOps and mobile teams to improve the tech stack
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Own your projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years experience in backend development
• Deep expertise with Node.js, NestJS, Java, and ideally Vue.js
• Strong grasp of scalability, security, performance tuning
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Next.js, Vue.js)
• Fast learner, self-driven, and open to new ideas and technologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with AI code generation tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q) is a plus
• Mobile dev experience (Swift, Kotlin, Java) is a plus
• Blockchain experience (e.g., Cosmos SDK, Ethermint) is a strong advantage
