About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Java) to join our Web3 Wallet team. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about blockchain, financial freedom, and building highly performant and secure backend systems at global scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java Spring microservices within a fast-paced, high-concurrency environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement Java Spring-based microservices for Web3 wallet infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product and Project Managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own system architecture end-to-end, conducting architectural reviews and identifying risk areas.
• Work closely with engineering teams across domains to ensure system interoperability and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and code quality standards.
• Handle high-concurrency, high-availability service challenges with resilience and foresight.
• Collaborate across global time zones, adapting to time-shifted meetings and remote collaboration.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in Web3 and bring a future-proof mindset to engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise in microservice architecture design and implementation.
• Experience working on high concurrency, high availability, and low latency systems.
• Strong cross-team communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote and distributed setup.
• Exposure to blockchain/Web3 is a plus (but not mandatory).
