Role Overview:

As a Senior Blockchain Researcher at Lahore Chain, you will play a critical role in designing and validating next-generation blockchain protocols, tokenomics, consensus mechanisms, and zero-knowledge solutions. You will collaborate closely with our core developers, product strategists, and ecosystem partners to ensure our technology remains secure, innovative, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep research on blockchain architectures, consensus algorithms, cryptographic protocols (e.g., zk-SNARKs, zk-STARKs), and Layer-2 scaling solutions.
• Author technical papers, research memos, and internal whitepapers to guide protocol design.
• Evaluate and benchmark protocol performance, security models, and gas efficiency.
• Collaborate with the core engineering team to prototype and implement research findings.
• Track global trends in blockchain innovation, regulations, and security threats.
• Contribute to open-source research and collaborate with academic and industry thought leaders.
• Support token economics and governance model design aligned with community incentives.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (PhD/MS) in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in blockchain research or protocol-level development.
• Strong background in cryptographic algorithms, distributed systems, and peer-reviewed publications is a plus.
• Experience with Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or similar chains.
• Solid understanding of smart contract platforms, DeFi, Layer-2s, and cross-chain technologies.
• Passion for open-source, decentralization, and a future where finance and data are censorship-resistant.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.
