About the role:

Join Discord’s Data Science & Analytics team to drive insights that improve user experience. You will lead analysis projects, build dashboards, design and analyze A/B tests, and collaborate across teams to inform product and business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with teams to manage the full data science lifecycle: ideation, analysis, dashboard/report creation, and A/B testing
• Define KPIs and create dashboards that provide actionable insights
• Build custom data sets to monitor product features
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Champion A/B testing design and analysis
• Collaborate with data and engineering teams for scalable instrumentation

Qualifications:

• 4+ years translating ambiguous business problems into insights
• 4+ years building dashboards with Tableau, Looker, or similar tools
• Strong SQL skills (4+ years)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience designing, analyzing, and interpreting A/B tests in large data environments
• Collaborative mindset and curiosity

Bonus points:

• Passion for Discord or online communities
• Experience with social media or subscription analytics (social graphs, LTV, funnel analysis)
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience with BigQuery SQL and production ETL
