Job Summary:

GoDaddy is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development to lead strategic investments, acquisitions, and portfolio management. This role partners with business leaders to drive inorganic growth and guide the full M&A lifecycle from sourcing to post-merger integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and lead strategic investment and acquisition opportunities
• Manage end-to-end deal execution: sourcing, diligence, negotiations, closing, and integration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners
• Evaluate GoDaddy’s portfolio for optimization through acquisitions or divestitures
• Create and refine deal playbooks to improve execution consistency
• Align deals with long-term corporate strategy and market expansion goals

Requirements:

• 15+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity
• Experience leading complex M&A and strategic investment transactions
• Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and project management skills
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Familiarity with post-merger integration best practices
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in the tech industry, ideally within a public company
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
