Join Coinbase’s Platform Product Group as a Senior Engineering Manager. You will lead engineering teams to build a trusted, scalable platform, ensuring consistency and high-quality user experiences across multiple products. This role focuses on delivering multi-tenanted, distributed systems and fostering a culture of high engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage engineering teams to guide feature and service development.
• Coach direct reports, supporting their career growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute roadmaps.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure high-quality code and architecture.
• Lead the delivery and operation of scalable systems.
• Recruit exceptional engineers aligned with Coinbase's culture.
• Contribute to engineering processes and ensure SLAs are met.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including 2+ years managing Managers.
• Expertise in software engineering processes and high-quality code.
• Experience in delivering multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance long-term and short-term planning.
• Hands-on skills for writing/reviewing code, troubleshooting, and leading incidents.
• Passion for building an open financial system.

Salary & Benefits

Pay Range: $236,725 USD - $278,500 USD
