(Senior) Finance Manager, Canada

About the Role

This key finance leadership role is responsible for managing financial operations and regulatory compliance to support Crypto.com’s fast growth in Canada. The role focuses heavily on regulatory adherence to Canadian securities regulations, including CIRO membership preparation, reporting, and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance efforts aligned with Canada’s Securities regulations (National Instrument) and compliance with Restricted Dealer and Marketplace registrations
• Prepare Crypto.com Canada for CIRO membership by updating finance policies and procedures
• Provide regular compliance updates to senior management
• Ensure policies meet/exceed regulatory requirements and are effectively executed
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters
• Prepare management and board reports, quarterly and annual regulatory filings
• Support tax return preparation, audits, and supporting schedules
• Automate and improve finance process efficiency
• Manage operating cash flows, customer accounts, cash movements, reconciliations, and NetSuite reporting

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5-10 years’ experience with Canadian National Instruments applicable to crypto trading platforms
• Familiarity with CIRO (formerly IIROC) reporting requirements and best practices
• Canadian resident
• Deep understanding of finance, regulatory, and governance challenges for digital assets, custody, securities, onboarding of digital asset firms and platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with meticulous process adherence
• Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and diverse stakeholder needs
• Leadership skills with ability to influence and deliver results
