🔍 Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst for Base & Developer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the product finance FP&A function within Coinbase. This role is focused on managing financial forecasting, variance analysis, and budgeting for Base's developer tools and protocols. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to support strategic financial planning and help scale the financial health of the business.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide monthly budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting support for business unit leaders and corporate FP&A.
• Headcount Planning: Work with HR and Talent Business Partners to forecast and manage headcount needs.
• Deep Dive Analysis: Conduct deep dives into specific revenue and expense lines to assess their financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Month-End & Earnings Support: Support month-end close processes and assist in preparation for quarterly earnings calls.
• Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across various functions, ensuring alignment and clarity in financial objectives.

✅ What We Look For

• Experience:
• At least 4 years of experience in FP&A or a similar finance role in fast-paced environments (e.g., investment banking, asset management).
• Strong financial acumen and technical skills, particularly in using tools like Google Sheets.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess the accuracy of financial data.
• Confidence and ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective cross-functional relationships.
• Interest in Crypto:
• A deep interest in the crypto economy, Coinbase’s products, and a desire to continuously learn and grow in this space.

• Technical Skills: Coding experience in SQL or Python.
• Experience with Tools: Familiarity with Anaplan and/or Netsuite.
