Role Overview

Join Canva’s People Team to act as a strategic partner to the Marketing group, collaborating closely with the CMO and leadership to drive high-impact HR initiatives. This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focusing on enabling team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, and organisational design in a fast-paced, hypergrowth tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner deeply with Marketing leadership to develop and execute tailored people strategies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and coach for leaders navigating growth and change.
• Deliver strategic HR solutions addressing complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence on performance, reward, and development programs.
• Lead change management initiatives and help embed new ways of working.
• Contribute to People team-wide initiatives for operational excellence and culture-building.

• Experienced HR Business Partner in hypergrowth, tech, media, or creative sectors.
• Skilled in leadership development, performance management, org design, and workforce planning.
• Strategic thinker with strong coaching and influencing skills.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving change, and balancing multiple priorities.
