Job Summary

Binance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join the KYC (Know Your Customer) team. You will contribute to the development of mission-critical systems that power the user identity verification process for one of the largest crypto platforms globally. This is a greenfield opportunity where you’ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle—from requirement gathering to system design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust financial systems and services within a high-performance environment.
• Build scalable and maintainable backend software that supports millions of daily users.
• Develop and maintain Open API functionalities for key financial products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to gather requirements and deliver business-critical features.
• Conduct performance optimization, troubleshoot production issues, and lead system refactoring efforts.
• Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code following engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Java development experience in production environments.
• Strong experience with the JVM ecosystem, including modern frameworks and tools.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in KYC, financial services, or blockchain-based applications.
• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, or real-time systems.
