🧩 Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll build and optimize high-throughput systems that power Binance’s KYC platform — a backbone for compliance and user onboarding. The role requires sharp backend engineering skills, system design knowledge, and strong collaboration across engineering teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable and reliable services based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop well-structured, maintainable systems.
• Write high-quality, well-tested Java code using Spring Framework.
• Tune performance and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years building distributed, high-throughput applications.
• Strong in core Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Proficient with MySQL and familiar with at least one NoSQL database.
• Experienced in designing and scaling distributed systems.
• Knowledgeable about at least one messaging middleware (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Quick learner, adaptable, and collaborative — especially in a remote/distributed setting.

• Deep understanding of JVM tuning, SQL optimization, RPC performance.
• Prior experience in KYC, AML, or compliance systems is a major plus.
