Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, and implement financial products including wallet systems, payment gateways, cash rebate programs, and merchant management tools.
• Build large-scale software systems impacting millions of customers’ daily lives.
• Develop open APIs for core financial products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to design and implement payment system features.
• Perform system performance tuning, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor code as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, high-quality code following engineering best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in core Java and familiarity with the Spring Framework.
• Experience with MySQL and at least one NoSQL database.
• Knowledge of distributed system design and messaging middleware principles.
• Good cross-team communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Cloud and microservice architecture.
• Background in FinTech or related financial domains.
• Experience developing backends, APIs, SDKs, or libraries.
• Skills in JVM, SQL, and RPC performance tuning.
• Experience managing global teams.
