About the Role

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer to design, develop, and enhance scalable blockchain solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance blockchain infrastructure while contributing to protocol design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize blockchain protocols and related infrastructure.
• Identify scalability issues and implement innovative blockchain solutions.
• Analyze and solve complex distributed system challenges.
• Collaborate with DevOps, backend, and ecosystem teams to build high-scale services.
• Maintain and document protocol architecture and implementation.
• Implement cryptographic mechanisms such as digital signatures, key exchange, and encryption.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and security assessments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong backend development skills (e.g., Go, Rust).
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic primitives (e.g., BouncyCastle, digital signatures, asymmetric encryption).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and consensus algorithms (e.g., Raft, PBFT).
• Experience with blockchain internals (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently, embrace feedback, and drive innovation.

Bonus Points

• Open-source blockchain contributions.
• Research experience in blockchain or cryptography.
• Hands-on experience with Cosmos SDK or Ethereum core development.
• Deep expertise in Golang or Rust.
