🏢 About the Role

Join Crypto.com's Venture Projects team, which is responsible for rapidly developing and scaling new blockchain-focused products. As a Senior or Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and improving core blockchain protocol components with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to architecture design, development, code review, and implementation of blockchain protocol components.
• Identify and resolve deep protocol-level issues (consensus, networking, transaction processing).
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps to deliver high-scale backend services.
• Write and maintain clear documentation for protocols and systems.
• Work with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to support long-term architectural scalability and robustness.

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (ideally with Go or Rust).
• Proficient in backend systems development.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic primitives (e.g., digital signatures, key exchange, symmetric/asymmetric encryption).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and consensus algorithms (e.g., Raft, PBFT).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

⭐ Bonus Skills

• Contribution to open-source blockchain projects.
• Experience with Cosmos SDK, Ethereum core, or other blockchain frameworks.
• Background in blockchain protocol research or cryptography.
• Deep expertise in Golang or Rust.
