🔹 Role Summary:

Coinbase is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to own and evolve its global KYC program. Reporting to the Head of Financial Crimes Compliance Services, you will set KYC policy, oversee global implementation, and lead a team responsible for protecting Coinbase’s integrity and scalability across jurisdictions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Set and drive global KYC strategy, policy, and execution.
• Provide second-line oversight and escalation on KYC issues.
• Advise on compliance with AML/KYC rules (BSA, CDD Rule, 4MLD, OFAC, etc.).
• Lead KYC operations, including issue management, KPIs, and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AML, Sanctions, Product, and Sales teams.
• Be the regulatory point of contact for KYC inquiries and audits.
• Oversee onboarding and client risk evaluation frameworks.
• Manage a team of KYC professionals across policy and operational design.

🔹 Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in KYC program management (fintech or digital assets preferred).
• Deep knowledge of global AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations.
• Proven ability to scale KYC systems and solve complex regulatory challenges.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, with a structured and strategic mindset.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

🔹 Nice to Have:

• Prior FinTech or crypto industry experience.
