🧾 Job Summary

Join TikTok's User Growth Design Team to shape product experiences across a range of platforms, including tablet, web, Apple Vision Pro, CarPlay, Android Auto, and emerging AR technologies. This role will focus on delivering exceptional product design that meets the needs of a diverse, global user base.

🧭 Team Overview

The UG Design Team enhances user engagement and growth globally, tailoring experiences for key markets such as Japan, Korea, and more. The team handles multiple interfaces across devices, ensuring culturally relevant, high-impact design experiences.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for TikTok’s Tablet, Web, and AR platforms with global relevance
• Partner with cross-functional teams: product managers, UX writers, researchers, and engineers
• Lead and contribute across the full design process—from concept ideation to pixel-perfect delivery
• Rapidly prototype and iterate using feedback and data
• Design and optimize user flows with strong attention to user experience
• Own and enhance the end-to-end product experience

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Proven UX/UI design experience leading multiple design projects from strategy to implementation
• Strong knowledge of Design Systems across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms
• Ability to create and iterate design concepts quickly
• Receptive to feedback, open-minded, and patient
• Strong communication skills for explaining design rationale and collaborating cross-functionally
• Entrepreneurial and adaptable in fast-changing environments
• Global design perspective with awareness of international user needs

💼 Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years in consumer-facing product design across mobile, tablet, and web
• Experience with A/B testing and data-informed design
• Familiarity with front-end programming and prototyping tools
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Passion for TikTok's platform and creative community

💰 Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $137,000 – $286,000 annually (San Jose, CA)
• Additional: Discretionary bonuses, RSUs (stock units), and incentives
