Role Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take ownership of quality assurance across the Collaboration Suite. You will lead both manual and automated testing efforts, contribute to system stability, and ensure that the product meets high internal performance and usability standards. This position is ideal for QA professionals with strong automation skills, cross-functional communication abilities, and experience with complex business systems.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Testing Execution & Automation

• Lead test planning, design, and execution for feature releases.
• Develop and maintain front-end automation scripts using the Cypress framework.
• Build and enhance specialized testing (e.g., API automation, performance testing).

🔄 Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with Product Managers and Developers to review requirements and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate integration testing with external third-party modules and teams.

🛠 Issue Resolution & Optimization

• Perform root-cause analysis for bugs in test and production environments (logs, code tracing).
• Lead improvement of release processes (SOP creation, deployment workflow stability).

🧠 Remote Work & Autonomy

• Demonstrate effective self-management, prioritization, and communication in a hybrid/remote environment.
• Proactively align with cross-border teams to ensure delivery deadlines and quality standards are met.

Requirements

🎓 Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 6+ years of QA experience, with 2+ years in a senior capacity handling large-scale or complex systems.

💻 Technical Skills

• Experience with Java or Python and test frameworks like TestNG or Pytest.
• Hands-on with Cypress for UI test automation; familiarity with React/Vue is a plus.
• Comfortable using tools like Postman, JMeter, WeChat DevTools, and Appium/Detox.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).

🤝 Soft Skills

• Clear communicator with the ability to explain QA concerns and technical risks to non-QA stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for test scenario design and issue triage.
• Leadership experience mentoring QA teammates or streamlining QA workflows.

🏆 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, chaos testing).
• Familiarity with IM protocols (WebSocket, Socket.IO).
• QA experience in blockchain, DAO, or decentralized apps.
• Exposure to microservices and distributed system testing.
