🧪 Your Core Responsibilities

• Manual & Exploratory Testing: Reproduce and investigate backend software issues.
• Automation: Design and maintain test automation (mainly Bash/Python-based) for APIs, databases, and distributed services.
• Test Coverage & Scripts: Identify gaps in testing and expand test cases.
• New Features QA: Collaborate during development phases, define behaviors, and assess potential impact.
• Documentation: Write detailed test plans, bug reports, and feedback.

✅ Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend QA engineering, ideally in fintech, trading, or high-throughput systems.
• Strong hands-on Linux/Unix skills (a must).
• Bash & Python scripting experience (3+ years).
• Experience testing:
• Backend services/APIs
• Databases
• Distributed systems (microservices preferred)
• Comfortable debugging, digging deep to uncover root causes.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
