Overview

Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding its Futures backend development team. This role focuses on architecting and building scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems using Rust to support a 24/7 high-performance trading platform serving millions of users globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable backend systems, services, and APIs to support futures trading
• Develop and maintain high-reliability services capable of handling large traffic spikes
• Monitor and optimize backend performance, identifying bottlenecks and improving efficiency
• Write fast, secure, and maintainable backend code in Rust
• Maintain and grow a comprehensive automated test suite
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex system challenges
• Mentor team members and promote best engineering practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with strong backend expertise
• Proficient in Rust programming, with experience writing efficient, concurrent, and multi-threaded applications
• Hands-on experience deploying production-grade software in Linux environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with production database scaling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) is a plus
• Previous experience working on trading systems or financial platforms preferred
