About the Role:

Join HERE’s Compilation Frameworks team to build backend systems that power global digital maps. You’ll develop scalable software for processing massive datasets, enabling offline navigation, search, and real-time traffic services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, production-grade software
• Contribute to architecture and algorithm design
• Write clean, testable code and conduct peer reviews
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
• Mentor new team members and support knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• 3+ years in software development
• Strong in Scala, Java, or C++ (Scala preferred)
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP
• Experience in distributed systems and large-scale data processing
• Clean coding and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science
• Experience with Apache Spark, AWS, Scala
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
• Functional and concurrent programming experience
