Role Overview:

Join GoDaddy’s Infrastructure Engineering team focused on building and supporting the next-gen private and public cloud infrastructure using OpenStack. You’ll support global scale cloud solutions used by multiple teams and millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, operate, and support GoDaddy’s private and public cloud infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze, isolate, and debug issues on host systems.
• Contribute throughout the software product lifecycle from design to production support.
• Participate in open-source projects like OpenStack and libvirt.
• Quickly troubleshoot code-level and infrastructure problems.

Required Experience:

• Background in software engineering or site reliability engineering, focusing on cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in distributed networking, system performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficient in Linux and Python development.
• Skilled with deployment automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.

Nice to Have:

• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with virtualization tech such as KVM and OpenStack.
• Knowledge of backend, highly scalable distributed services and deployment automation.
