Team Overview

The Institutional Trading Derivatives team powers derivatives trading for retail and institutional users across global markets. The team owns the full derivatives trading platform, including execution, risk management, settlement, and clearing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend support for new derivatives products.
• Build services, APIs, monitoring tools, and internal frameworks to support trading workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to deliver high-impact features each quarter.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise technical standards across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing, scaling, and maintaining production systems.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and distributed systems.
• Ability to write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Passion for open financial systems and blockchain technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with trading platforms or financial exchanges.
• Background in high-performance, low-latency systems.
