Position Overview

• Pay Range: $186,005 CAD (plus bonus, equity, benefits)

About the Role

• Join the Consumer Product Group to build intuitive, secure, and accessible crypto-forward frontend products.
• Work on Coinbase’s flagship retail app, advance trade, staking, and dApps.
• Contribute to Coinbase’s 2024 goal to become the #1 self-custody wallet by MTUs and downloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop frontend features and services using React and JavaScript.
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure user interfaces for crypto apps.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and leadership to define and execute product roadmaps.
• Ensure high performance, usability, and security in frontend architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering; 4+ years in frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
• Experience shipping user-facing features.
• Strong understanding of modern UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with product/design collaboration and writing well-tested code.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Native and/or crypto products (e.g., Ethereum, dApps, ENS).
• Background in finance or security-related frontend development.
