Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid)

About the Role

You’ll design, develop, maintain, and improve software for Crypto.com’s ventures projects, working on scalable applications from frontend UI to backend infrastructure. You will own projects, innovate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and operations, propose architectural solutions
• Participate in design, code reviews, implementation
• Build retail trading products and expand to new regions
• Identify and solve complex backend issues at scale
• Provide reliable real-time trading information streams to customers
• Offer technical support to resolve issues
• Manage documentation for code and features
• Collaborate to enhance technology stacks for long-term growth

Requirements

• Strong motivation, fast learner, “get things done” mindset
• Open, humble attitude to embrace new ideas and challenges
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in Ruby and Golang
• Experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka preferred
• Familiarity with scalability, security, and performance optimization
• Financial domain knowledge or blockchain experience is a plus
