About the Role

Crypto.com is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and improve software solutions for various high-impact projects. This role will involve both frontend and backend development, focusing on scalable applications that connect Crypto.com to both developers and end-users. You will play an essential role in building robust retail trading products, scaling them for new regions, and supporting operational efficiency through technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities

🛠️ Development & Implementation

• Develop and enhance backend services for the trading platform, ensuring seamless operations and connectivity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and scalability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions to complex problems.
• Provide technical operational support to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently.

🌍 Scaling & Expansion

• Drive the expansion of retail trading products to new regions and countries.
• Identify and address scalability, security, and performance optimization issues in a large-scale backend infrastructure.

💡 Innovation & Collaboration

• Take ownership of projects, encouraging innovation and openness to new technologies and experimentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to refine the technology stack and set the stage for future engineering initiatives.

📚 Documentation & Best Practices

• Maintain thorough documentation for all implemented code and functionalities to ensure clarity and consistency within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proficiency in Golang and Ruby, with a solid understanding of other programming languages being an advantage.
• Experience working with databases such as Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
• A strong understanding of backend infrastructure and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology or financial domains (preferred but not required).
• Ability to balance conflicting requirements from multiple stakeholders and manage complex technical challenges.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn new technologies and methods to improve the product.
