• Team: FinHub – Core financial infrastructure
• Seniority Level: Very senior (12+ years experience), strategic contributor
• Compensation Range: $246,500 – $290,000 USD (plus bonus + equity + benefits)

🛠️ What You'll Be Doing

🔧 Backend Systems Engineering

• Build next-generation financial systems that support crypto, fiat, and internal transactions
• Design and maintain high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems
• Lead large-scale architecture for ledgering, trading, tax optimization, and portfolio systems

🧠 Strategic Leadership

• Collaborate with product and platform teams to align systems with business goals
• Help shape technical direction and execution for FinHub
• Lead from the front in project execution, coding, and mentorship

👥 Mentorship & Communication

• Mentor senior engineers
• Communicate technical solutions to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders

✅ Requirements

🌐 Core Technical Skills

• 12+ years of backend engineering experience
• Proficiency in Golang (or a close systems-level language like Rust, Java, C++)
• Strong experience designing distributed systems at scale
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput transaction systems

💼 Domain Expertise

• FinTech or trading systems background is required
• Prior experience with ledgering, fund movement, or financial operations

🧩 Leadership & Impact

• Proven ability to deliver business-critical backend systems
• Experience driving complex, ambiguous initiatives from design to production
• Passionate about building systems that handle real-world money and risk

✨ Nice to Haves

• Built ledgering or trading systems at a FAANG or large-scale fintech
• Experience in both startups and large enterprises
• Crypto-native experience (e.g. onchain interactions, smart contracts, dApps)
