About the Role

Binance is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support Engineer focused on API trading systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting high-profile institutional clients, including high-frequency trading (HFT) firms, algo/quant funds, and market makers. You’ll provide hands-on technical support, resolve complex API issues, and work directly with VIP clients and cross-functional internal teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-priority technical support for institutional clients using Binance’s API trading services, resolving urgent production issues.
• Collaborate closely with VIP Account Managers, Customer Support, Engineering, and Product teams to troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
• Participate in iteration planning, product release cycles, and provide ongoing feedback to improve services and system performance.
• Train and guide internal support teams and institutional clients on best practices, system updates, and troubleshooting processes.
• Ensure continuous improvement in service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Work effectively in a high-speed, high-volume production environment, prioritizing multiple requests with agility.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, system engineering, or software development roles.
• Strong technical communication skills, able to explain complex issues to engineers, clients, and product managers.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise with global teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, RESTful APIs, and backend systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing or supporting quantitative or algorithmic trading systems.
• Familiarity with financial markets, particularly crypto and digital assets.
• Proficiency in data analysis, especially in the context of market behavior and API performance.
• Experience working with large-scale or cloud-native systems, including hybrid cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of open-source tools and frameworks; contributions to open-source projects is a plus.
