🔎 About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technology Risk Analyst to join our U.S.-based Technology Risk team. This role will serve as a critical part of Coinbase’s first line of defense, working directly with engineering and cross-functional partners to identify, assess, and remediate technology risks, document the tech roadmap, support governance and compliance efforts, and improve key business and engineering processes.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Document and maintain the Coinbase Technology Roadmap.
Evaluate and document technology risks, and design risk remediation plans.
Monitor remediation efforts and report on metrics and performance to stakeholders.
Support reviews of new regulations/laws and translate them into engineering requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes for better risk tracking and KPI reporting.
Participate in the Coinbase Technology Governance and ICT Risk Management frameworks.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documents and summaries.
Maintain team documentation, risk registers, and KPI dashboards.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

5+ years in technology governance, risk, or compliance.
Experience with IT frameworks and standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO).
Experience managing regulatory/audit-driven remediation projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and develop structured action plans.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with cloud-native environments.
Strong data analysis skills to inform decisions and develop insights.
Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.

Preferred (Nice to Haves):

Experience interfacing with regulators.
2+ years in Financial Services or FinTech.
Experience using GRC tools (e.g., Jira, Archer).
Prior experience or deep interest in blockchain and crypto.
Advanced knowledge of Google Apps, JIRA, Confluence, and cloud platforms.
