Overview:

Join Coinbase's Blockchain Platform team to work directly with blockchain nodes, enabling the company’s connection to 55+ blockchains. You’ll focus on scaling, automation, traffic management, and reliability improvements across blockchain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upgrade and manage blockchain nodes
• Build automation to reduce operational toil
• Improve reliability, scalability, and data consistency
• Support new blockchain asset launches
• Drive innovation (e.g., decoupling storage and compute, job orchestration)

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and maintaining production services
• Strong coding skills with service-oriented architecture familiarity
• Interest in blockchain and decentralized finance

Nice to Have:

• Background in service ownership and automation
• Blockchain systems knowledge
• Experience improving integration testing and platform-level tools
