About the Role

We are looking for experienced Backend Software Engineers to join our Institutional - Prime team. This team enables large financial institutions to securely custody digital assets and engage in the crypto economy. You'll work on building a scalable, secure platform supporting hundreds of crypto assets and participating in staking, governance, and Web3 interactions.

What You’ll Do

• Decompose our monolithic Rails app into scalable microservices.
• Design and build production-ready, secure backend systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to define quarterly roadmaps.
• Write clean, well-tested code with a strong focus on quality and performance.
• Build backend systems that support real-time, low-latency, high-frequency applications in the cloud.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in backend software engineering.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and building scalable systems.
• Ability to write production-quality code in languages such as Go, Ruby, etc.
• Passionate about crypto and building an open financial system.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a startup or fast-growing tech company.
• A/B testing or growth experiment background.
• Prior experience working with blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.).
• Familiarity with Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift.
• Exposure to crypto-native tools like Ethereum wallets, ENS, and dApps.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: $152,405 – $179,300 USD (depending on location)
• Includes target bonus, health benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and more.
