Overview

Coinbase is hiring a frontend engineer to help build Coinbase One, a premium membership offering zero trading fees, enhanced staking rewards, account protection, and more. This role is part of the Trading and Security team, delivering user-facing experiences that directly impact revenue and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build elegant, secure, and performant web interfaces
• Own feature development from concept to release
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and leadership
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive engineering culture

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building web applications using JavaScript and React or similar component-based frameworks
• Proficient in front-end architecture best practices (performance, usability, security)
• Experience in full product lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong testing and coding discipline

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of app security (e.g., 2FA), crypto exchanges, or blockchain tools like Ethereum, ENS, and dApps
