• $152,205 USD - $179,300 USD

🌍 About the Role

Coinbase is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their Institutional Product Group. This team supports Coinbase's institutional clients by enabling secure custody of digital assets and participation in the crypto economy. You'll work on building scalable and secure crypto platforms, integrate with blockchains, and develop mass-market interfaces for digital currency apps.

🧑‍💻 Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop secure and reliable services to integrate blockchains and add new crypto assets to various Coinbase business units (Pro, Custody, etc.).
• Interface Development: Create user-facing features for digital currency apps (e.g., staking, voting, predicting).
• Secure Storage: Write services that ensure secure asset transfer and transactional services.
• Collaborative Work: Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn ideas into a tangible roadmap.
• Positive Energy: Add positive energy to meetings and promote inclusivity in all interactions.

🧠 Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience developing web apps with JavaScript and component-based JS frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience in developing and shipping user-facing features.
• Familiarity with front-end architecture trends, including performance, security, and usability.
• Collaboration: Experience working with designers, engineers, and product managers through product and design lifecycles.
• Code Quality: Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.

🎯 Nice to Haves

• Experience on front-end teams in finance or security.
• React Native mobile app development experience or migrating native apps to React Native.
• Crypto-forward experience, including Ethereum, ENS, and dApps.
