• Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 + equity + benefits

About the Role

You’ll work on Discord’s revenue infrastructure powering Nitro, Boosts, and other subscription products. This cross-functional role involves collaborating with Product, Data Science, Design, and other teams to create seamless subscription experiences and accelerate development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build subscription management, perk fulfillment, discounts, and recurring billing features across Web, Android, iOS, and other platforms.
• Own end-to-end problem solving: defining specs, coding, and launching features.
• Partner with growth and product engineering teams to build internal platforms boosting acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Develop novel premium user experiences like Nitro Credits.
• Collaborate with Payments and Financial Platform teams on reliable payment and order infrastructure.
• Rapidly prototype features and learn through experimentation in a fast-paced team.

What You Should Have

• 3+ years software engineering experience; familiarity with React, TypeScript (Web), React Native, Kotlin (Android), Objective-C, Swift (iOS), and Python (backend).
• Growth mindset — learning from challenges and pushing continuous improvement.
• Strong product/platform intuition with empathy for internal and external users.
• Experience with billing systems, recurring payments, and app store integrations (Google Play, Apple).

Additional Info

• Must reside or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. Relocation assistance may be available.
• Salary is base only, excluding equity and benefits.
