About the Role
As a Sr. Associate in the Regulatory Change Management (RCM) team, you will help build, manage, and continuously improve the systems and processes that monitor and respond to regulatory developments. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can collaborate across legal, compliance, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support maintenance and expansion of Coinbase’s Legal & Regulatory Obligations Inventory
- Contribute to the quarterly metrics and reporting process
- Assist in horizon scanning and assessing impact of regulatory changes
- Track implementation of regulatory changes and perform post-implementation reviews
- Conduct QA on regulatory platforms (e.g., Regology, Archer)
- Help draft and maintain RCM policies and procedures
- Support regulatory risk assessments, control mapping, and data management initiatives
- Provide project-based support and manage internal RCM documentation
Requirements
- Experience designing and implementing regulatory change management or legal obligations tracking systems
- Working knowledge of financial services regulations and risk management practices
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, and collaboration skills
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Juris Doctor (JD) required
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or experience in the cryptocurrency space
- Experience at a law firm and/or as in-house counsel
- Exposure to working with financial regulators
- Background in vendor/project management and business requirement documentation
