📊 About the Role

As a Staff Accountant on the Subscription & Services Revenue Accounting team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the revenue function at a fast-paced, rapidly evolving fintech company. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role requires technical accounting expertise, analytical thinking, and strong collaboration skills across Finance, Product, and Engineering.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an ambitious, growth-focused environment and is eager to work with complex revenue models in crypto and digital assets.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Record daily revenue journal entries and create supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and relevant financial documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, FP&A, Engineering, Ops) on accurate financial reporting and accounting treatment of new product launches.
• Assist with SOX compliance and internal control adherence.
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for external audits and statutory reporting for non-US subsidiaries.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial data to identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvements.
• Support automation projects and new accounting system implementations.
• Maintain clear, current process documentation for internal procedures.
• Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analysis.

🧠 What We Look For

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or fintech/financial services preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a bonus.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of SOX controls and financial compliance.
• Detail-oriented and solutions-driven mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
