What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand admin needs across multiple teams and design scalable solutions.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers by example.
• Deliver great user experiences to administrators in large-scale enterprises by designing feasible tech solutions.
• Lead continuous improvements within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; participate in on-call rotations supporting critical services.
• Guide the architecture of high-volume, enterprise-ready backend services.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve.

Who You Are

• Experienced in architecting scalable and maintainable backend services.
• A role model for engineering best practices, disciplined coding, and thorough code reviews.
• Strong Java production experience.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator who understands problems before jumping into code.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Protocol Buffers and AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS.
