📌 Position: Staff Product Designer - Consumer

📍 Location: United States (Remote)

💰 Salary Range: $207,485 – $244,100 USD + bonus, equity, benefits

🚀 Role Summary:

• You will be the founding designer on a small team building a new Coinbase product offering.
• Own the entire design process end-to-end — from MVP design to future vision.
• Work on features such as payments, payroll, invoices, onboarding, multi-user support, payment rails, tax, settings, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other teams.
• Conduct customer interviews and research to generate insights that influence strategic decisions.

• Design MVP and long-term product concepts.
• Collaborate with teams to launch supporting features.
• Use customer feedback to inform design decisions and product strategy.

✅ What Coinbase Looks For:

• 7+ years in product design.
• Strong product thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proven success shipping products within a product team.
• Mastery of visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Fluent with Figma and prototyping tools.
• Low ego, collaborative, and open-minded.
• Interest in crypto and financial products.

🌟 Nice to Have:

• Fintech experience (especially B2B, but consumer is also good).
• Experience working on complex product platforms with cross-team collaboration.
• Experience launching products from 0 to 1, either at a startup or within an internal venture.
