Help Discord scale toward multi-billion-dollar revenue as a Staff Software Engineer on the Consumer Revenue team. You’ll shape the technical roadmap, drive monetization strategy, and collaborate across engineering, product, design, data science, and marketing. What You’ll Be Doing

• Scale and optimize existing revenue streams, while building new monetization opportunities from the ground up.
• Lead the technical vision across cross-functional teams and high-impact projects.
• Own initiatives from idea to launch, ensuring a strong alignment between tech, product, and business.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, engineers, analysts, and marketers to ship polished, revenue-generating features.
• Guide leadership on technical strategy to support Discord’s long-term growth.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with deep technical expertise.
• Proficiency in web (React, TypeScript), mobile (React Native, Kotlin, Swift), and backend (Python, Elixir) platforms.
• Proven success leading complex projects end-to-end at scale.
• Strong sense of product and design thinking—engineering that solves real user needs.
• Strategic mindset, first-principles problem solver, and highly collaborative across disciplines.
