🔹 Role Mission

You’ll be part of the Test Experience team, focused on empowering developers at Coinbase by building tools and frameworks that improve testability, developer velocity, and code quality across a broad spectrum of products — web, mobile, and backend.

This is a core infrastructure/platform role, with real company-wide impact.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of internal testing tools and systems
• Measure adoption and effectiveness of developer tools
• Actively gather feedback and improve the developer experience
• Drive the strategy and roadmap for testing productivity
• Make critical architectural decisions and improve engineering culture
• Ensure service uptime, performance, and SLA compliance
• Mentor teammates and raise the technical bar

🔹 Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of test infrastructure, automation, CI/CD
• Proven experience in delivering large-scale developer tools or systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate with a customer-first mindset (developer as customer)
• Demonstrated execution in ambiguous and high-stakes environments
