We’re building a Notifications Platform to deliver billions of messages daily across mobile push, SMS, email, and in-app. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design and develop this system from scratch, ensuring reliable and scalable user engagement while capturing insights to optimize performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Develop a scalable notification platform consolidating multiple communication channels.

✅ Define technical and functional requirements for delivering billions of notifications daily.

✅ Implement data pipelines for robust analytics and performance tracking.

✅ Scale infrastructure to support hundreds of millions of users efficiently.

✅ Mentor engineers, sharing expertise in distributed systems and observability.

What You Should Have

✔️ 7+ years of experience in high-performance distributed systems.

✔️ Passion for solving complex technical problems and improving system performance.

✔️ Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and system reliability.

✔️ Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments with undefined challenges.

✔️ Experience navigating large-scale codebases and collaborating across teams.

✔️ Broad technical experience with a willingness to learn new technologies.

✔️ Data-driven approach to validating design decisions.

Bonus Points

➕ Proficiency in Python, Elixir, or Rust.

➕ Experience deploying scalable services on Kubernetes.

➕ Familiarity with GCP Pub/Sub or other message brokers.

➕ Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Scylla, etc.).

➕ Contributions to open-source projects.

📍 Location: Fully Remote (#LI-Remote).

💰 Salary: $223,000 - $245,000 + equity + benefits.
