About the Role:

Coinbase is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager – Technology to drive high-impact sourcing strategies, optimize vendor relationships, and manage multimillion-dollar contracts in support of our mission to increase global economic freedom. As part of the Finance team, you will be a key leader managing sourcing operations that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and align with Coinbase’s values of ownership, innovation, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance
• Develop sourcing strategies that reduce financial, legal, and operational risk
• Manage cross-functional sourcing projects, supplier evaluations, and cost modeling
• Drive vendor consolidation, spend transparency, and savings initiatives
• Influence decision-making through market research and strategic analysis
• Communicate sourcing impacts to leadership and foster continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, ideally in tech or fast-paced environments
• Proven track record managing high-value contracts and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Passion for innovation and alignment with Coinbase’s mission and values
